Dirty gear is dangerous. As particles and chemicals accumulate on protective gear, its effectiveness decreases — putting firefighters and those they come in contact with at risk. Contaminated gear reflects less radiant heat, becomes more flammable, and can even conduct electricity.

Continental Girbau’s ExpressDry Gear Dryers, equipped with touchscreen controls, safely and efficiently dry up to 8 sets of turnout gear and accessories using ambient air. They align with manufacturer drying requirements and comply with NFPA 1851 recommendations.

Target Hard-to-Dry Areas

The patented design uses powerful fans to push air from the inside out, effectively drying vapor barriers and difficult-to-reach areas that are prone to mold and mildew if not dried properly. The drying system limits air loss and prevents airflow from following the path of least resistance — resulting in faster, more efficient drying and the ability to dry more suits in the same amount of time.

Important: Inspect Before you Sign 

Inspection Instructions

• Inspect all items and all sides of the shipment before signing the driver’s delivery tablet/receipt.
• Open packaging fully to view all sides.
• You have 30 minutes to complete inspection before extra charges may apply.
• If the driver refuses to allow full inspection, do NOT sign. Contact the local freight terminal manager and request the shipment be marked as “damaged – inspection not allowed” or refuse the shipment.

If the shipment is undamaged: Sign and date the delivery receipt 

If damage is found:

• Write “DAMAGED” on the delivery receipt.
• Note all visible damage in detail.
• Sign and date the receipt.
• Accept undamaged packages when possible; refuse only damaged items.
• Keep a copy of the delivery receipt.

If the shipment is damaged and the delivery receipt is signed clear (with no damage notes), all rights to a full freight claim may be void.

The factory cannot pay for freight carrier damages.
